Ben and I are moving... as we were cleaning the junk from under our bed we had this delightful exchange.
(I threw something at ben)
Ben: Ridiculus
me: Wow, what a nerd to curse me with a Harry Potter curse.
Ben: What a nerd to know that's where it came from.
me: dang it... crucio (it didn't work very well though because I didn't mean it.)
hahaha

mmmm mmmmm goooood
Who knew gingerbread making could be so... interesting?... complicated? A few days ago we went over to the Johnson's to test our creativity to the max. Lindsey and I felt that the tradition gingerbread house look and design was good enough for us... the boys did not feel the same way. We already had our walls built and they were still in the "planning" phase. This is probably the cleanest the table was in the five hours of gingerbread house madness.

Sadly, I don't have a picture of the front of Klay's house... it had an arch entry way. He, too, did not finish the building in five hours.
I only have a side view of Lindsey's... it was really cool. Tin foil siding from the hershey kisses and green mike 'n' ike bricks.

Ben put in a few hours on Sunday. This is not the finished product but he is almost done constructing the house... then on to decorating. woot.

We had a lot of fun. I think all of our houses were sawesome... if not beyond sawesome.
Ben has yet to finish his... this is how it looked at 1AM... a good stopping point.

I like to think of my creation as two words: Classic and Timeless.
I worked hard on the realistic icicles... hard work DOES pay off. I also worked hard on my horse... pictured below. He shortly died after we left.

By the way I forgot to mention on here in my last post that I am published in the December 2009 New Era. Woot woot for me.

Thanksgiving
We went up to my parents' house for thanksgiving. My whole family was there (except for Trev). I didn't get many pictures but my sister did. We had a good time. The day before Thanksgiving the girls went to see New Moon and the boys shot some guns and did manly things together. On Thanksgiving day the boys played football for three hours. We watched for a little while. The girls and dad went on a walk and we ran into some neighbors and some of us rode their horses for a few minutes. Ari rode with me and got mad because I wouldn't let her take control of the reins. When we got back to the house we got ready for dinner and then had a feast. It was a delight. The only pictures I got from that day were of the table.
The day after everyone went back down to Arizona, my dad, wes, Ben, and I decided to go ride horses.

Three years down, a million bajillion plus infinite years to go...

Time to sell...
Ben and I have a big announcement... we are moving. We are selling all of our furniture because our home for the next few years is abundantly furnished. We are quite distraught thinking about saying goodbye to these wonderful pieces of furniture. I thought I'd post them on my blog before craigs list in case a friend would want to buy one of them.

I just thought I would post this gem. If you would like a large framed copy of them picture it will be $449.99 plus shipping and handling.
This was taken in our first year of marriage. You can tell because of my shoes, the wimpyness of my left leg, and the abundant hair flowing from Ben's hat.
I will post a video of Ben's football skills shortly.
By the way, we might be throwing ourselves a goodbye moving party... more details to come.
Good Bye.
In this picture we are selling the tv stand (which happens to be my favorite piece), two couch end tables, the black leather couch and chair, the ottoman, and the book case. Prices are not set on these items but let us know if you are interested.
Bed,
two nightstands,
a dress with a mirror,
the mattress,
and the comforter and all the pillows.
It is a queen size bed. We priced out everything separately for $1200 then decided to throw the mattress and bedding into that price as well.

Pumpkin Carving 2009
When it comes to carving pumpkins, Ben has some skills. Last night we had our friends, Klay and Lindsey over for some first class pumpkin carving.
From left to right we have Mickey Mouse (it looks more like Mickey in real life), Jack, and Chip.

The Johnson's masterpieces... Lindsey's on the left. Klay's on the right.
Ben's precious Chip. He wanted me to post these right away because he was so proud of this pumpkin.

Ben has carved many a great pumpkins in his day, and even won some prizes. This creation, he feels, is his crowning achievement.

To be honest, mine was not very cool, but I'll put it in here to show that I did participate.
The End.

I can't sleep...
I have no idea what this post is going to be about yet... it'll probably be random.
I am sure everyone knows that I work at Best Buy. I am not really into electronics, so the great part about working there is not the discount, but watching the movie sales.
This week's big winners that I wish I could buy for $6.99:
Overboard
Pretty in Pink
Sixteen Candles
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
The Breakfast Club
Strange Brew (for all those high schoolers that think they are cool)
Strange Brew (for all those high schoolers that think they are cool)
Some great classics. Overboard has to be my favorite by far. The thing that makes me mad about Disney is that they never go on sale below $14.99. I'll have to shop Disney elsewhere.
Here is a question for everyone... well, anyone who reads this at least...
For Christmas, the mister and I may just buy a tv series on dvd to watch. We have no idea what series to get. I think we will get Band of Brothers and another one. Any suggestions?
I love tootsie rolls.
I just started reading the book, When Crickets Cry, by Charles Martin. It seems to have grabbed my attention so I am pretty excited about that. I recently finished The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown... it was ok. It was certainly an adventure, but not my favorite. The first time I read a Dan Brown novel it was wonderful. After reading all his books I have realized that they are all the same. Pity.
ok. i'm out of words. what now? I don't know. I can't make a post without a picture...
Here is Devynn going and looking like Trevor again.
This is Ari practicing her dance moves for the Princess Ball
First Time I met Rach
We are doing a rap... you know with the up and down arm movement.
Sorry Rach, but this picture makes me laugh. It looks like our knees just stopped working and we are about to collapse.
The End.
I apologize for the randomness.

I'm back
I went down to Arizona the latter half of September to hang out with some nieces.
We played school,
sang songs,
swam,
they called me shamu the balooga whale,
we rode bikes,
played house,
watched Barbie movies,
watched more Barbie movies,
watched Barbie movies over and over and then acted them out,
we made messes,
cut paper,
played with beads,
drew pictures,
and got ready for baby Benson.
Here are a few pictures...

I got to go see Benson a few times whilst in Arizona. He is so tiny. Hopefully he will come home from the hospital soon so his sisters get to see him. He kind of said my name a few times. He is such a smart boy.
I flew into Montana because it was cheaper than flying to Salt Lake... odd. Ben drove up to pick me up and I got him this little gift. It is a lighter.
It was fun to spend a few days with my parents. Their house is looking good and it is almost done. I am sure they are happy about that. I wish we would have taken some pictures of our activities up there. Ben taught me how to ride a dirt bike. I basically rocked it. Well, there is an update for you all. I am sorry it wasn't really that great of one... just deal with it.
Some Funny Quotes from Ari:
We went to go visit my Grandma at work. Britt took Ari to the bathroom and when they walked into the restrooms Ari said, "I didn't know this building had indoor plumbing."
I asked Ari what love meant and she said, "It means you don't flick eachother" and later that day she got a flick for hitting Dev in the face. Ironic.
She says something funny everyday... Britt will have to keep everyone updated on that.
Farewell.

woot
Greetings everyone. I know, it has been a long time since I have blogged. Ben and I have been pretty busy lately. We both have just been working a lot.Since the last time I have blogged we have gone boating, spent a weekend in Island Park, visited my parents, I broke my pinky, went to Arizona, had kidney stones, wore a byu jersey to work, gone miniature golfing... and a lot of other fun stuff. I have, however, forgotten to bring the camera along on these adventures.
Our friends, Klay and Lindsey, took us boating. Ben got up on the wakeboard and we were quite delighted. I do happen to have a picture of the blessed moment but it is not on my computer yet but it will be soon. Here are a few random pictures...

Watching Ari and Dev paint

I went to see Dash's new house. It looks great. Here is a picture of Devy and Wes.

This is just a random creepy picture of me.

OH I forgot to mention that we have "guard wasps"... it's true. They have a huge hive above our door. I will have to take a picture. It is cool how fast they built it. Ben doesn't want to kill them. Oh well.

Well I hope to have some fun pictures up soon. Tomorrow I leave for Arizona... I will think about taking a camera.
Adios
