ME ME ME

I thought that since most of the pictures I have are NOT of me (because I usually take the pictures) that I would do a whole post of pictures of me. I know everyone probably wants to see me... a lot of me.

This is me at church today. Trying to take a decent picture to send in a letter to someone. This is not the winner.
Bundling up for Wesley's game... I added a winter coat and gloves. They won. Amazing, I know.
This is me today preparing for a sinus rinse. I actually made a video of me doing the actual rinse, but I don't think everyone would want to see that. You pretty much squirt water up one nostril and it comes out the other. It's neat.
My mom surprised me with these socks/flip flops. They are rather interesting. I have been pondering what the designer was doing when he or she designed this particular masterpiece. The socks are stuck into t he side of the flip flop.
Well, I guess that is enough of me for a while. Adios

Last weekend

Last weekend some of our friends invited us to go to their cabin with them up in the mountains near Butte with them and their grandson. We had a blast. The cabin is pretty far back in the mountains, in fact they have to generate their own electricity. On Saturday night, Cheryl showed me the town of Butte and it would be a great town to go explore and go on tours. It has a very interesting history.

Raising the flag
The view off the deck
The view from the pond
We really had so much fun. We spent hours on four wheelers and dirt bikes exploring the surrounding area.

The Granite Quary

We got to explore a granite quary.
This stone was already cut.
A ways away from the quary were a bunch of stone walls and stairs. It looked like somone came along later and built a little lean-to against one of the walls.
I thought these stairs looked cool.

There were places where we climbed through small holes to find large rooms inside. It was really cool.

This room was actually really dark but the flash on the camera made it look light.

Our weekend in the mountains

We went four wheeling for hours and found so many cool houses like this. I think this one was in the best shape. Up in these mountains there used to be an old mining town and there is so much history. It is fun to learn about and see what is left behind.

There were a bunch of old mining shafts... this one is full of water.
