There were places where we climbed through small holes to find large rooms inside. It was really cool.

This room was actually really dark but the flash on the camera made it look light.

Our weekend in the mountains

We went four wheeling for hours and found so many cool houses like this. I think this one was in the best shape. Up in these mountains there used to be an old mining town and there is so much history. It is fun to learn about and see what is left behind.

There were a bunch of old mining shafts... this one is full of water.

Oh Deer

A walked out the door and scared them away.

Oh Deer

I was doing the dishes the other day and looked up to see this:
I scared them off and they started running and I was surprised to see more of them

PHone pictures from the farm

A few weeks ago some of our good friends invited us over to explore their farm.

We all go to ride on the combine...
and chew on wheat to try to make it turn to gum (no one succeeded)
play in a truck load of wheat (the stuff makes you itch)
and ride some more in the combine.
Good times.

Homecoming Weekend

Two weeks ago was homecoming weekend. There was a parade after school...

Wesley is on thefire truck... he is next to the 27... we had no idea what side he would be on and I didn't get a picture of him. Bummer.

Fooootball

Ben and I have tried to be faithful to Wes' football games and we have been to quite a few. It's fun to go. He is number 42. Here are some shots of him doing his thing.

I think this one is a home game.
This place was about an hour away

Friends

I am the worst blogger in the world. This picture was taken quite a while ago but I had to put it up because it makes me laugh. Our friend, The Johnsons, came to visit for a weekend and we had so much fun. It was great being able to spend the day with them. After a long day, we got home and the boys headed straight for the couches and about 2 minutes later they were snoozing. This is the only picture I got of their visit. They were exhausted.
